A Host of Angels!!!

Wow, I got less than zero work done today! It's not my fault though. We had meetings all day, and then there was cake and then more meetings. And what these meetings mostly consisted of was watching a septagenarian aerodynamicist argue with a septagenarian aerospace engineer about whether or not the various "hosts of angels" mentioned in the bible were really the expanding contrails from a fleet of alien space vehicles as they made an exodus from Earth.

But I lucked out with the weather! It rained overnight, then it stopped and I biked in, and then it rained, and then it stopped and I had cake outside, and then it rained and then it stopped, and I biked home, and now it's raining again! Yay.

I made a bunch of clarified butter. I'm trying to force Hilary to use it instead of margarine. Since she's only allergic to the milk protein, and clarifying the butter removes the protein, it shouldn't kill her ... theoretically.

Oh, yesterday I was elected to the board of the Madison Speedskating Club as the VP of Propaganda. Also, I got a special award and a plaque with my name engraved on it for helping out with the club this year! Super!
